Mint Chocolate Chip cookies
This recipe is so simple! If you love mint and chocolate together than you will love these cookies. I did not use the creme de menthe chips, cause I couldn't find them at my local grocery store and they turned out just fine. So I think that ingredient is probably optional.
Makes 36 cookies
Ingredients:
1 pouch Betty Crocker sugar cookie mix
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/4-1/2 tsp mint extract
6 to 8 drops green food coloring
1 egg
1 cup creme de menthe baking chips
1 cup semisweet chocolate chunks
Directions:
Mix cookie mix, butter, extract, food color, and egg in a bowl, until soft dough forms. Stir in creme de menthe baking chips and chocolate chunks. Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop dough 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350°F for 8 to 10 min.
